OK...I Just Have to Share....

i put my house on the market today at around 12:45pm... the sign went in our front yard around 1:20pm...2:10 the realtor phones and says that someone wants to see the house 1:30 tomorrow (saturday)....then he phones back at 3:45 (i'm out picking up lucifer from work) i phone him back around 4:00pm...he says the people want to see the house at 5:30pm (today)....9:30 we get an offer, and we sign the papers....i am sooooooo happy...lol...but they have 20 days to get an inspector in and their finances in place....so may 11th, if all goes well, my house is sold!

i just had to share..lol....i have been phoning everyone!

does it seem like a lot of people on the board who are active witnesses are being attacked?

What we're seeing here is a few posters with very high profiles here finally getting caught out after taking the piss with the Borg for ages. Richie and Dan got what they always wanted, out. The way they've got out might not be they way they wanted to get out but the result is the same. Lola getting caught, coincidence, I've been on this board in one form or another for over two years and I've never seen a pic of Lola, she was unlucky, got spooked and jumped. The others that have been done recently were pretty low profile here. they didn't do anything that would have put them on the radar or provoked the WTBTS snitches which unfortunately lurk here. I guess their time was up.

Woman with a flat tire. Would you have stopped to help when you were a JW?

in the light of the second greatest commandment, "love your neighbor as yourself", when you were an active jw would you have stopped to help in the following scenario?

you are in your car and drive by a woman who is having car trouble... a flat tire.

she's struggling to get the tire changed.

Yep I would. I stop and help anyone. I'll even help a bloke which I can't say all men do. (had a man stop to help me once, then drove on saying "sorry I thought you was a woman"!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOO ! That was you?!?! What was you doing on the motorway in fishnets? lol

I got DF'D yesterday

i got a call from my wife today.

she said they made the announcement at the hall yesterday that i got df'd.

they said that i am no longer a jehovah's witness.

The easiest way to handle shunning is to turn it around. Shun them instead! the trick is shunning them first though. Dubs hate being shunned especially if they have the right to shun you first it takes all the fun out of it for them.
